MSC Board of Directors (roles & responsibilities)

Alex Davey – Chairman contact:  chair@middletonsportsclub.co.uk

Alex is a keen tennis player and has been at the Club for over 10 years. As Chairman his role is to guide and oversee the activities of the Board, ensuring the Club is well run and co-ordinating roles and responsibilities. 

Roger Spedding – Finance Director contact: finance@middletonsportsclub.co.uk

Roger is our Finance Director. He has served on the Board for 17 years having joined in 2005. As a qualified Accountant Roger is responsible for the financial well being of the Club as well as producing the annual accounts. 

Kevin Fox – Buildings contact: buildings@middletonsportsclub.co.uk

Another longstanding member, Kevin has been a Board member since 2006 and is responsible for the upkeep of the buildings, with maintenance, repairs and expansion. His latest project was the new patio, which has proven to be a great success this summer.

Brandon Hanley – Sports contact: sport@middletonsportsclub.co.uk

Brandon has been a member at MSC since 2005 and has represented the Club in almost all of the sections…Bowls still to come. So his appointment as Director for Sports was eau natural. He liaises with all the sections and represents their interests to the Board.

Rob Ormsby – Grounds contact: grounds@middletonsportsclub.co.uk

Rob is a recent addition to the Board, but has been a Bowls member for 7 years. Rob will be looking after the grounds team and working with the section heads to ensure our playing facilities are in excellent condition; and that the overall presentation of the Club is in good shape.
